Hoppy Easter to Everyone out there that might be reading this. I had a good day and I hope that you had a good one, as well. I spent the day globe trotting from my apartment in Greensboro, NC to my father's home in Hickory, NC then on to Mr. Keith's house to spend some time with his family in Burlington, NC. I got home around 9-9:30 pm after watching the heart breaking UKY/Michigan State game. I think someone needs to take Michigan State OUT for beating DUKE. I think Carolina (UNC) will be able to do it. I am going to pull for Carolina even though Mr. Keith absolutely hates them. He's a die-hard NC STATE Wolfpack fan. I loved Carolina in the Dean Smith days-especially when Michael Jordan was a Tarheel. I like Duke more these days. How can you not like Coach K?? I pull for Carolina when there's no other North Carolina teams in contention.
Conversasion at Dad's house was lively with everyone catching everyone up on the events in their lives. Brother 1 got to tell everyone how everything at college was going. It seems he had just gotten a new palm pilot on this trip home and was wanting some $800 wheels for his bike. (He's like a serious bike rider. Lance Armstrong type biker. I called last weekend and he was going on a 40 mile bike ride and he did it in like 2.5 hours. His college is in the MOUNTAINS of North Carolina where there is no flat ground. They'd find me passed out dead somewhere after the first uphill!!) I told him I could get him two 18-wheeler truck tires for $125 a piece and he could keep the change. For some reason, he wasn't very impressed.

Sister 3 is getting ready for college. She's freeking out over SATs. I don't remember getting as bothered as she is about them. But then again, I was so glad to be leaving home and going to college period that I didn't really care where I went as long as I got to go. Seems these days, that getting into the college of your choice is a little more selective and challenging. You'd think universities (seeing that they know how to take money so well) would want to fill their classes and not be so stringent on single test scores like the SAT in favor of students that have consistent 4.0 grade point averages and have very flattering college resumes. Sister 3 was not happy at all with her first attempt of acing the SAT and is now taking an SAT prep course. I'm sure she'll do much better this time. If for no other reason than she'll know more what to expect.
Sister 2 seems to be enjoying her new cush job in a law firm in Charlotte. And it seems to fit her well. She's in the pre-qualifing stages for a new house. Good luck, Sister 2!! With all my current medical bills, I might be in a house in the year 2205. If I am lucky!!
Sister 1 and her husband both have new jobs. Sister got promoted at her current job and is now "the boss" over several drone bees in the design department where she works. Her husband's place of business got bought out by another company. He was upgraded to service manager and transferred to another location, if I am understanding everything right. By the way, if you have one of those Fords that are catching on fire......Don't call him!!
Me? Well, the only thing I had to talk about was the new stiletto high tops that I'm going to have molded for myself. And I did tell Sister 3, who is very lacking in the Boob department that I'd trade her my DD's for a kidney, anytime. She thought about it for a second....then declined!!
I am going to start working on my National Board Certification if I can ever get a printer cartridge and print all the requirements out. Once that's done I might work on a Masters. Man that means TWO more standardized tests!! Maybe Sister 3 and I can fret together!!
